The actual tragedies of life bear no relation to one's preconceived ideas. In the event one is always bewildered by their simplicity their grandeur of design and by that element of the bizarre which seems inherent in them.
When I performed at 'Open Mic U.K.' I had this connection with the audience that I'd never felt before and I loved it. It was my first big thing and looking out into the crowd... was just amazing.
