In more than 20 years I've spent studying the issue I have yet to hear a convincing argument that college football has anything do with what is presumably the primary purpose of higher education: academics.
When I performed at 'Open Mic U.K.' I had this connection with the audience that I'd never felt before and I loved it. It was my first big thing and looking out into the crowd... was just amazing.
