It is one of the most saddening things in life that try as we may we can never be certain of making people happy whereas we can almost always be certain of making them unhappy.
The tree of knowledge is not the tree of life! And yet can we cast out of our spirits all the good or evil poured into them by so many learned generations? Ignorance cannot be learned.
