Our government is founded upon the intelligence of the people. I for one do not despair of the republic. I have great confidence in the virtue of the great majority of the people and I cannot fear the result.
This is one of the major problems we have. By the way it was endorsed by leadership on both sides of the aisle and both ends of the Capitol by the NRA and also by the gun control groups.
