Brainy folks were also present in Lyndon Johnson's administration especially in the Pentagon where Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara's brilliant 'whiz kids' tried to micro-manage the Vietnam war with disastrous results.
I do not know much about politics but I am trying to do the best I can with this administration until the time shall come for me to turn it over to somebody else.
