A truly great book should be read in youth again in maturity and once more in old age as a fine building should be seen by morning light at noon and by moonlight.
Undeserved praise causes more pangs of conscience later than undeserved blame but probably only for this reason that our power of judgment are more completely exposed by being over praised than by being unjustly underestimated.
