I can only note that the past is beautiful because one never realises an emotion at the time. It expands later and thus we don't have complete emotions about the present only about the past.
Every relationship I've been in becomes long-distance because of work. It's never worked out. It puts an intense strain on the relationship and at a certain point it becomes too difficult.
