I'm definitely bicoastal but I have to say it's easier to live in New York than in L.A. I feel like people respect other people's space a bit more here.
War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.
