He has spent his life best who has enjoyed it most. God will take care that we do not enjoy it any more than is good for us.
Perhaps we don't need these religious concoctions to pillow the fear of death. Just the fact that there is an unknown and something greater can bring a feeling of peace. That's enough for me.
