There's no regret. You can't regret. I mean I've felt regret but I've also refused to allow regret to sow a seed and live in me because I don't believe it. You feel it it's like guilt it's like jealousy it's like all those horrible things. You've just got to snip them and get them out because they're no good.
The first year or so on The Daily Show is pretty intense in terms of travel. You're going to the worst places in the country talking to the craziest people in the world.
If you ever start feeling like you have the goofiest craziest most dysfunctional family in the world all you have to do is go to a state fair. Because five minutes at the fair you'll be going 'you know we're alright. We are dang near royalty.'
Craziest thing I've done for love is getting married. I think it's crazy. I think it's crazy crazy crazy. I'm never going to say I wouldn't do it again but I have to make sure it's love and not settling for the 'I have to do this by a certain age ' which is kind of what I did.
