Shortly after I turned 13, Child Welfare took me into care. I was sent to a residential centre where girls with behavioural problems were 'evaluated'. My time there comes back to me now only in flashes of smells, images and sounds.

I think everyone goes through chapters in their life and there was a time when I wasn't feeling terribly positive about what I was contributing to film or wasn't feeling as if I was going in the direction I wanted and I re-evaluated what I was doing.

Furthermore both Pennsylvania and New Jersey Departments of Environmental Protection have evaluated the sediment to be dredged and also found it to be not toxic.
