The only people who live in a post-black world are four people who live in a little white house on Pennsylvania Avenue. The idea that America is post-racial or post-black because a man I admire Barack Obama is president of the United States is a joke. And I hope no one will even wonder about this crazy fiction again.
I have never forgotten my days as an Eagle Scout. I didn't know it at the time but what really came out of my Scouting was learning how to lead and serve the community. It has come in handy in my career in government.
But despite the universality of URLs we often forget that they're not just a handy way to address network resources. They're also valuable communication tools.
