I've come to recognize what I call my 'inside interests.' Telling stories. And helping people tell their stories is a sort of interpersonal gardening. The mysteriousness and mystique of space is such that science fiction attempts to tantalize you by telling you a story that could possibly be out there and that's the appeal of science fiction.
I happen to dig being able to use whatever mystique I have to further the idea of peace.
There's no mystique to acting. It's only common sense - and a bit of courage.
