I fear that in the end the famous debate among materialists idealists and dualists amounts to a merely verbal dispute that is more a matter for the linguist than for the speculative philosopher.
The true teacher defends his pupils against his own personal influence. He inspires self-trust. He guides their eyes from himself to the spirit that quickens him. He will have no disciples.
