I think the driving thing was curiosity about the universe. That fascinated me. I didn't think anything about being famous or anything like that I was just interested in the concepts involved.
What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn't have any doubt - it is sure to get where it is going and it doesn't want to go anywhere else.
