Our mother was a very religious and observant Jew our father less so. She was kind of driving the religious education so for us it was more a burden and an obligation when we were kids at that age.
The truth is in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.
