I do not know anyone who has got to the top without hard work. That is the recipe. It will not always get you to the top but should get you pretty near.
If you desire to be pure have firm faith and slowly go on with your devotional practices without wasting your energy in useless scriptural discussions and arguments. Your little brain will otherwise be muddled.
