I have not the smarts or patience for political office.

Unless and until Barack Obama addresses the full depth of Americans' anger with his full arsenal of policy smarts and political gifts his presidency and worse our economy will be paralyzed.

I feel we live in the kind of culture now where you have to be very smart to navigate the right way and I just don't have those smarts. I think with age and time it will change but I can't obsess about it.
