Each day as I travel through downtown Tucson I am amazed at how quickly the most ancient of human behaviors have changed. For as long as there have been Homo sapiens - roughly 200 000 years - people have filled their lives principally with two activities: talking directly with other people and doing physical things.

My very first job was a cashier at Burger King in Tucson Arizona. And I occasionally worked the drive-thru. I'd go wherever I was needed! My second job was at Dairy Queen. I stayed in the fast food royalty.

And at five o'clock in the morning we left to drive to Old Tucson and I sat with my mouth open in the van. I was stunned by the beauty of that country.
