Killing yourself is a major commitment it takes a kind of courage. Most people just lead lives of cowardly desperation. It's kinda half suicide where you just dull yourself with substances.
We can only know one thing about God - that he is what we are not. Our wretchedness alone is an image of this. The more we contemplate it the more we contemplate him.
