I've learned to think in terms of having a long career. Actors can have very long careers that last until the day we die but there will be moments when you'll feel like you're a failure or when you're disappointed in yourself.
If 50 percent of your career is not filled with failure you're not really successful.
The failure of The Cable Guy impacted my career. I had to start writing and acting again.
I have probably purchased fifty 'hot tips' in my career maybe even more. When I put them all together I know I am a net loser.
You can learn more from the lows than the highs. The highs are great but the lows make you really look at things in a different way and want to improve. Every player will have both in their careers and I have but what you get is that experience which is so important to perform at your best.
Games have grown and developed from this limited in-the-box experience to something that's everywhere now. Interactive content is all around us networked ready. This is something I've been hoping for throughout my career.
From my experience I think that every actor has to make sure that they're in charge of their own career somehow or other.
I think everyone should experience defeat at least once during their career. You learn a lot from it.
I probably hold the distinction of being one movie star who by all laws of logic should never have made it. At each stage of my career I lacked the experience.
You will die but the carbon will not its career does not end with you. It will return to the soil and there a plant may take it up again in time sending it once more on a cycle of plant and animal life.
If bringing up the next generation is important why aren't they the best qualified the best paid? Why aren't we as concerned about their career progression as we are about those who work in the education or health services?
And my career the things that have happened have happened because of my music education background.
Community colleges are one of America's great social inventions a gateway to the future for first time students looking for an affordable college education and for mid-career students looking to get ahead in the workplace.
I knew from a young age that I wanted to be an actor. I never even thought about other careers. The acting field is certainly not the path many Indian parents encourage their children to take but mine were very supportive. They wanted me to have an education but understood that this is what I wanted to do.
And I'm very surprised that all this stuff actually worked out to where I could have a career in film gain the benefit of my education and be thankful that I was able to break into my craft as an actor.
Education makes children less dependent upon others and opens doors to better jobs and career possibilities.
If my career detour from special education to singing has done one thing it has afforded me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.
I use every single thing that Alfred Hitchcock taught me in my acting career... I am very grateful for the education he gave me in making motion pictures.
I had the most reversed education possible. Every parent wants their son to be a businessman respectable - me it was the opposite. When I had an artist career my mum was like 'Oh finally I'm proud of you!'
Education can lift individuals out of poverty and into rewarding careers.
The education that prepared me was my general education classes which I tried to avoid when I was a stupid undergraduate but which gave me the foundation of general knowledge that makes a career as a writer possible.
Now that virtually every career is an option for ambitious girls it can no longer be considered regressive or reactionary to reintroduce discussion of marriage and motherhood to primary education. We certainly do not want to return to the simplistic duality of home economics classes for girls and wood shop for boys.
My career was full of struggles and dreams disappointments and peaks and valleys. But there was no Twitter no Facebook or TMZ. Young actors could make mistakes and not become the focus of tabloids.
I began my career with infantile dreams of becoming a composer.
