I live in constant fear of being fired or dropped for that dark part of my work I can't control.

I live in a kind of controlled awareness. I wouldn't call it fear but it's an awareness. I know I have a responsibility to behave in a certain way. I'm able to do that.

Fear controls you.

Mine are the deep-seated fears established when we are children and they never quite go away: the fear of being helpless the fear of being trapped the fear of being out of control.

I do support artists standing by their beliefs and walking with integrity. We have to find a better way to commercially exploit music while giving artists their proper respect. This cannot be done while taking their contributions for granted or trying to control the scope of their growth and power through threats and fear tactics.

The more you can increase fear of drugs and crime welfare mothers immigrants and aliens the more you control all the people.

There are times when fear is good. It must keep its watchful place at the heart's controls.

For me getting comfortable with being famous was hard - that whole side of it the loss of anonymity the loss of privacy. Giving up that part of your life and not having control of it.

In religious and in secular affairs the more fervent beliefs attract followers. If you are a moderate in any respect - if you're a moderate on abortion if you're a moderate on gun control or if you're a moderate in your religious faith - it doesn't evolve into a crusade where you're either right or wrong good or bad with us or against us.

People who believe they have the power to exercise some measure of control over their lives are healthier more effective and more successful than those who lack faith in their ability to effect changes in their lives.

Question: Why are we Masters of our Fate the captains of our souls? Because we have the power to control our thoughts our attitudes. That is why many people live in the withering negative world. That is why many people live in the Positive Faith world.

I do respect people's faith but I don't respect their manipulation of that faith in order to create fear and control.

As your faith is strengthened you will find that there is no longer the need to have a sense of control that things will flow as they will and that you will flow with them to your great delight and benefit.
