Wit is so shining a quality that everybody admires it most people aim at it all people fear it and few love it unless in themselves. A man must have a good share of wit himself to endure a great share of it in another.

I became an actor and because I had success as an actor I became famous. I was acting for quite a while before I got famous television made me famous. I guess that it's television that is responsible for everybody's desire to be famous.

When you're a famous successful person at 16 years old the rules change for you. Everybody is doing things for you to make life easier so you can go out and play. And I think you miss out on lot of growing up and a lot of reality checks.

There's the famous thing that the A&R man from the record company is supposed to do: He's supposed to come into the studio and listen to the songs you've been recording and then say 'Guys I don't hear any singles.' And then everybody falls into a terrible depression because you have to write one.

I don't like Los Angeles. The people are awful and terribly shallow and everybody wants to be famous but nobody wants to play the game. I'm from New York. I will kill to get what I need.

I'm bored with that line. I never use it anymore. My new line is 'In 15 minutes everybody will be famous.'

My favorite thing about being famous... it's not really as big of a deal as everybody says it is. Being on the road is tough doing interviews and all the stuff. It's still pretty tough.

The hardest thing about being famous is that people are always nice to you. You're in a conversation and everybody's agreeing with what you're saying - even if you say something totally crazy. You need people who can tell you what you don't want to hear.

The dream was not to put one black family in the White House the dream was to make everything equal in everybody's house.

The sad events that occur in my life are the sad events that happen to everybody with losing friends and family but that is a natural occurrence as natural as being born.

Sometimes you struggle so hard to feed your family one way you forget to feed them the other way with spiritual nourishment. Everybody needs that.

When I go back to family reunions everybody goes 'Hey cousin! Hey Auntie!' And I'm like 'Okay I don't know you I have no idea who you are.' I am auntie and cousin for so many and even the ones in prison call me collect. And I'll be like 'Which of my family members are giving you this phone number?'

Everybody sung in my family.

I think the family movie is very important to everybody right now.

Growing up in an Italian family you use a harsh tone and 10 minutes later everybody forgets about it.

My goal is to get everybody in America to do their family tree.

Everybody has basically the same family it's just reconfigured slightly differently from one to the next.

Life goes by really fast and it seems that there are times when you're burying a lot of friends and family. And then there are times that feel really precious and everybody is doing okay. This is one of those times.

And I keep saying whether you like the president or not everybody has to pull together and help the president because as the president goes so goes the country as the country goes so goes your job your ability to feed your family your government.

I think illness is a family journey no matter what the outcome. Everybody has to be allowed to process it and mourn and deal with it in their own way.

I say If everybody in this house lives where it's God first friends and family second and you third we won't ever have an argument.

A man ought to live so that everybody knows he is a Christian... and most of all his family ought to know.

Everybody keeps saying that India's a poor country. Yes we have poverty. But I blame the government of India the political establishment for their failure to educate and therefore their failure to control the poverty.

I cannot give you the formula for success but I can give you the formula for failure - which is: Try to please everybody.
