Love is the most difficult and dangerous form of courage. Courage is the most desperate admirable and noble kind of love.

We know the threats - from global terrorist networks to the spread of deadly weapons. Yet we also know that embedded in this time of danger is the promise of a new day if we have the courage and commitment to work together.

You take a number of small steps which you believe are right thinking maybe tomorrow somebody will treat this as a dangerous provocation. And then you wait. If there is no reaction you take another step: courage is only an accumulation of small steps.

I think that the romantic impulse is in all of us and that sometimes we live it for a short time but it's not part of a sensible way of living. It's a heroic path and it generally ends dangerously. I treasure it in the sense that I believe it's a path of great courage. It can also be the path of the foolhardy and the compulsive.

Courage in danger is half the battle.

Physical courage which despises all danger will make a man brave in one way and moral courage which despises all opinion will make a man brave in another.

The principal act of courage is to endure and withstand dangers doggedly rather than to attack them.

If we survive danger it steels our courage more than anything else.

Courage enlarges cowardice diminishes resources. In desperate straits the fears of the timid aggravate the dangers that imperil the brave.

Courage consists not in blindly overlooking danger but in seeing it and conquering it.

The amount of eccentricity in a society has generally been proportional to the amount of genius mental vigor and moral courage it contained. That so few now dare to be eccentric marks the chief danger of the time.

Courage - a perfect sensibility of the measure of danger and a mental willingness to endure it.

I have snakes three sharks moray eels piranhas five scorpions and a bird spider. All of them are predators. They are dangerous but it's cool to have strong and powerful pets.

I continue to meet people who have had their Web pages hijacked their browsers corrupted in some cases their children exposed to inappropriate material from these dangerous programs hidden in their family computers.

There is a real danger that computers will develop intelligence and take over. We urgently need to develop direct connections to the brain so that computers can add to human intelligence rather than be in opposition.

The real danger is not that computers will begin to think like men but that men will begin to think like computers.

States are looking for low-cost solutions that will enable better communication while avoiding the danger in which the chain of command breaks down in emergencies. We do not want everyone talking to everyone else all the time.

Making movies is not rocket science. It's about relationships and communication and strangers coming together to see if they can get along harmoniously productively and creatively. That's a challenge. When it works it's fantastic and will lift you up. When it doesn't work it's almost just as fascinating.

But I'm acutely aware that the possibility of fraud is even more prevalent in today's world because of the Internet and cell phones and the opportunity for instant communication with strangers.

Christians should be ready for a change because Jesus was the greatest changer in history.
