Two hundred years ago our Founding Fathers gave us a democracy. It was based upon the simple yet noble idea that government derives its validity from the consent of the governed.

Our Founding Fathers crafted a constitutional Republic for the first time in the history of the world because they were shaping a form of government that would not have the failures of a democracy in it but had the representation of democracy in it.

Government is necessary for our survival. We need government in order to survive. The Founding Fathers created a special place for government. It is called the Constitution.

What the Founding Fathers created in the Constitution is the most magnificent government on the face of the Earth and the reason is this: because it was intended to preserve the American society and the American spirit not to transform it or destroy it.

Most Americans aren't the sort of citizens the Founding Fathers expected they are contented serfs. Far from being active critics of government they assume that its might makes it right.

I was nine or 10 years old and my father was sacked on Christmas Day. He was a manager the results had not been good he lost a game on December 22 or 23. On Christmas Day the telephone rang and he was sacked in the middle of our lunch.

But I say to you Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

I pray to be a good servant to God a father a husband a son a friend a brother an uncle a good neighbor a good leader to those who look up to me a good follower to those who are serving God and doing the right thing.

We are celebrating the feast of the Eternal Birth which God the Father has borne and never ceases to bear in all eternity... But if it takes not place in me what avails it? Everything lies in this that it should take place in me.

When you have a good mother and no father God kind of sits in. It's not enough but it helps.

The Bible tells us that God will meet all our needs. He feeds the birds of the air and clothes the grass with the splendor of lilies. How much more then will He care for us who are made in His image? Our only concern is to obey the heavenly Father and leave the consequences to Him.

By our Heavenly Father and only because of God only because of God. We're like other couples. We do not get along perfectly we do not go without arguments and as I call them fights and heartache and pain and hurting each other. But a marriage is three of us.

To gather with God's people in united adoration of the Father is as necessary to the Christian life as prayer.

God the Father and God the Son cannot be everywhere present indeed they cannot be even in two places at the same instant: but God the Holy Spirit is omnipresent - it extends through all space with all other matter.

To a father when a child dies the future dies to a child when a parent dies the past dies.

Let us make future generations remember us as proud ancestors just as today we remember our forefathers.

It's unbearable when someone changes around you. Just imagine that your life partner changes then it is difficult to cope with. Or your mother. Or your father. They were strong and now they're like a baby - it's not so funny.
