Since the 1960s there has been a tremendous expansion of the resources available to pay for health care.

Raising taxes is the last thing we should do amid the weakest economic recovery since World War II. Unfortunately even if we avoid the full 'Taxmageddon' scenario President Obama's health care law also contains a new surtax on investment that will take effect in 2013.

Since the reduction of risk factors is the scientific basis for primary prevention the World Health Organization promotes the development of an integrated strategy for prevention of several diseases rather than focusing on individual ones.

Since 1994 lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have considered it politically risky to offer a plan to fix America's broken health care system. The American public though has paid the price for this silence as health care costs skyrocketed millions went uninsured and millions more grappled with financial insecurity and hardship.

I'm not into animal rights. I'm only into animal welfare and health. I've been with the Morris Animal Foundation since the '70s. We're a health organization. We fund campaign health studies for dogs cats lizards and wildlife. I've worked with the L.A. Zoo for about the same length of time. I get my animal fixes!

Since therefore no man is born without faults and he is esteemed the best whose errors are the least let the wise man consider everything human as connected with himself for in worldly affairs there is no perfect happiness under heaven.

For me however that beloved glowing little word happiness has become associated with everything I have felt since childhood upon hearing the sound of the word itself.

My parents- they've been my biggest influences and supporters since day one. They teach me every day that happiness comes from within and not from something outside of your heart.

People truly reaching across boundaries - be they religious or race political or geographic. A state that is sincerely civil and respectful of each individual's pathway toward life liberty and the pursuit of happiness will be our goal.

A sincere and steadfast co-operation in promoting such a reconstruction of our political system as would provide for the permanent liberty and happiness of the United States.

Achievement of your happiness is the only moral purpose of your life and that happiness not pain or mindless self-indulgence is the proof of your moral integrity since it is the proof and the result of your loyalty to the achievement of your values.

So Bush certainly wasn't the greatest and Obama has not done the job. And he's created a lot of disincentive. He's created a lot of great dissatisfaction. Regulations and regulatory is going through the roof. It's almost impossible to get anything done in the country.

I'm sad to report that in the past few years ever since uncertainty became our insistent 21st century companion leadership has taken a great leap backwards to the familiar territory of command and control.

Through mutual understanding sincerity and goodwill and with great wisdom and broad views the leaders on both sides should jointly initiate new opportunities for peace stability cooperation and mutual benefit.

The great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one's real and one's declared aims one turns as it were instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms like a cuttlefish squirting out ink.

On the recollection of so many and great favours and blessings I now with a high sense of gratitude presume to offer up my sincere thanks to the Almighty the Creator and Preserver.

The wise man does not expose himself needlessly to danger since there are few things for which he cares sufficiently but he is willing in great crises to give even his life - knowing that under certain conditions it is not worthwhile to live.

I have come to believe that a great teacher is a great artist and that there are as few as there are any other great artists. Teaching might even be the greatest of the arts since the medium is the human mind and spirit.

A little sincerity is a dangerous thing and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal.

All my graduation money went to paying for bartending classes so I could have a side gig. I bartended for two months before I was supposed to move to New York and then two months later I got the job as an understudy in 'Sister Act' and haven't looked back since.

Never go to your high school reunion pregnant or they will think that is all you have done since you graduated.

Now in New Jersey we have more government workers per square mile than any state in America. But since I've been governor we now have fewer people on the state payroll at any time since Christie Whitman left office in January 2001. That's the right direction Mr. President not the wrong direction.
