Our Founding Fathers crafted a constitutional Republic for the first time in the history of the world because they were shaping a form of government that would not have the failures of a democracy in it but had the representation of democracy in it.

Government itself is founded upon the great doctrine of the consent of the governed and has its cornerstone in the memorable principle that men are endowed with inalienable rights.

The Founders recognized that Government is quite literally a necessary evil that there must be opposition between its various branches and between political parties for these are the only ways to temper the individual's greed for power and the electorates' desires for peace by submission to coercion or blandishment.

Government is necessary for our survival. We need government in order to survive. The Founding Fathers created a special place for government. It is called the Constitution.

Government is by its very nature a destroyer of liberties the Obama administration specifically is promising to interfere with the economy and the health care system so profoundly that Washington will soon have us all in chains.

What the Founding Fathers created in the Constitution is the most magnificent government on the face of the Earth and the reason is this: because it was intended to preserve the American society and the American spirit not to transform it or destroy it.

I found the offer of a knighthood something that I couldn't possibly accept. I found it to be somehow squalid a knighthood. There's a relationship to government about knights.

I think its rather peculiar. It's not in keeping with our founding documents our founding vision. But I'd guess you'd have to ask the Obama administration why they purged all this language from their platform. There sure is a lot of mention of government so I guess I would put the onus on them to answer why they did all these purges of God.

You know I have found a new way to get high and stay spaced out for hours on end and the government can't stop me... It's called senility.

Most Americans aren't the sort of citizens the Founding Fathers expected they are contented serfs. Far from being active critics of government they assume that its might makes it right.

We believe as our founders did that 'the pursuit of happiness' depends upon individual liberty and individual liberty requires limited government.
