Hunger is a political issue and there are several things politically that are keeping people hungry - not funding food stamps adequately not funding school lunches adequately. So there is a political solution to the problem of hunger.

Food during my early years was a very difficult issue for me. I grew up in an addictive family. My mother had serious problems with alcohol and prescription drugs. I was an overweight kid. I can remember back in those days there weren't the strategies that there are today to deal with those issues.

I always think I am one of the millions and millions of people that struggles with an addiction to food. I don't know how to relax that's my problem.

The lunch in a normal American restaurant is very problematic for me. I don't like to have hot food for lunch.

I first got involved with ending world hunger and I got hip to the facts about it - what a huge problem it was and how it wasn't a matter of not having food or not knowing how to end it but it was a matter of creating the political will.

The problem is when that fun stuff becomes the habit. And I think that's what's happened in our culture. Fast food has become the everyday meal.

My fitness trainer's English my physio's English some of my friends are English. I don't have a problem with English people at all.

Once in a while I'll get moved to do some exercise. It's something I long for but the biggest problem is bending down and putting my tennis shoes on. Once I go out I'm OK.

It has to be real and I think a lot of the problems we have as a society is because we don't acknowledge that family is important and it has to be people who are present you know and mothers and fathers both are not present enough with children.

There is only one way to solve the alleged crisis of the erosion of 'family values.' And that is to get right down to the root cause of the problem.
