I think that in the future clocks won't say three o'clock anymore. They'll just get right to the point and rename three o'clock 'Pepsi.'

Sometimes your disappointments make you a stronger person for the future.

I just don't want to live like I used to. And at some point I'm going to put a gag order on myself in terms of talking about the past. I've got to slam the door and deal with the present and the future.

But sooner or later I'd love to do a comedy. I mean I think that you know people don't think that that's in my wheelhouse because I've sort of played a lot of dramatic stuff and that's certainly a side of myself that I want at some point in the right context in the right stuff that I find really funny.

It's funny because when you're younger you're in a rush to be 18 or 21 or whatever. But then you hit 30. And now the days go by like hours. You think 40 man this could be the halfway point. It could be the three-quarters point you know? Who knows?

My main point is to be funny if I can slip a message in there fine.

It sounds funny but the 2008 Olympics were something that just kind of happened and I was lucky they came at a point when I was uninjured and well prepared. As a gymnast you can't ask for much more.

I'm not funny. People assume that because my books are funny I'll be funny in real life. It's the inevitable disappointment of meeting me.

And I like to keep whatever is mine remaining that way. It's a funny little game to play and it's a slippery slope. I always say to myself I'm never going to give anything away because there's never any point or benefit for me.

Don't remember me as too nice or beautiful or funny because then you'll be disappointed.

I was so afraid to even read a paper in front of my classmates. It is very funny because at that point my teachers would never have believed that I could speak in front of an audience of over 2 000 people.

Friendship can only exist between persons with similar interests and points of view. Man and woman by the conventions of society are born with different interests and different points of view.

There has to be chemistry in a duet but if you go beyond the point of friendship and attraction you lose something.

I love to deer hunt and fish and drive down the back roads in my truck. All those things basically equal freedom to me - and not having to return that message or call from my record company or management. At some point I need to recharge.

So sometimes the facts are good and sometimes the facts are bad the important thing from the point of view of a principle as broad and important as freedom of speech is that the courts articulate and set forth in a very protective way what those principles are.

It is the people who scream the loudest about America and Freedom who see to be the most intolerant for a differing point of view.

A lot of people out there pay good lip service to the idea of personal freedom... right up to the point that someone tries to do something that they don't personally approve of.

I felt extremely uncomfortable as the focal point in the spotlight. I really like the behind the scenes role because all my freedom is there.

But I found that disappointing people is a good thing because disapproval is freedom.

Freedom isn't free. It shouldn't be a bragging point that 'Oh I don't get involved in politics ' as if that makes someone cleaner. No that makes you derelict of duty in a republic. Liars and panderers in government would have a much harder time of it if so many people didn't insist on their right to remain ignorant and blindly agreeable.

If Jesus Christ was who He claimed to be and He did die on a cross at a point of time in history then for all history past and all history future it is relevant because that is the very focal point for forgiveness and redemption.
