People always fear change. People feared electricity when it was invented didn't they? People feared coal they feared gas-powered engines... There will always be ignorance and ignorance leads to fear. But with time people will come to accept their silicon masters.
Men make history and not the other way around. In periods where there is no leadership society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better.
I don't think the human mind can comprehend the past and the future. They are both just illusions that can manipulate you into thinking theres some kind of change.
