Even before I knew I was gay I knew I didn't want to have a child. I knew I didn't want to have one. I never want to have to release it from me. Listen I love babies. I love children. And I melt when I'm around them. I also love my freedom and I love that I can sleep at night.

Back a hundred years ago especially around Woodrow Wilson what happened in this country is we took freedom and we chopped it into pieces.

Religious freedom opens a door for Americans that is closed to too many others around the world. But whether we walk through that door and what we do with our lives after we do is up to us.

For more than four decades the Libyan people have been ruled by a tyrant - Moammar Gaddafi. He has denied his people freedom exploited their wealth murdered opponents at home and abroad and terrorized innocent people around the world - including Americans who were killed by Libyan agents.

I ask the people of Connecticut for their forgiveness I should have paid more attention to people around me and people that I trusted but I am sorry for my actions and take full responsibility.

Understanding where your food comes from trying to bolster local farmers and local economies and having a better connection to the food around you and the people around you only good can come of that. I love to be involved with things like that.

I did skit comedy online for many years beginning around 2001. Around 2006 I started watching a lot of food television and got re-interested in food. I come from a very food-obsessed family. But I also wanted to do my own thing which was the comedy.

Women oftentimes are the ones making those economic decisions sitting around the kitchen table and trying to figure out how to pay for rising gas prices or food prices or the health insurance costs. And I think that they see where they expect their leaders in Congress to also make those tough decisions.

I recycle. I have a house in the south of France and I have a small garden. My name is Dujardin - 'from the garden.' I grow carrots peppers strawberries green beans and things for salads but there are lots of wild boars all around and they steal the food.

Eating and food are a wonderful part of our life's experience and half of us are walking around dreading having to figure out what to put in our mouths.

We hear all around us to love ourselves and one of the ways we can do that is to eat food that serves our body but also for us to love the food we're eating.

My perfect day is constantly changing. Right now it would be to lie around in a hammock reading with a portable phone and a table of food next to it. I would spend all day there. And that's all that I can possibly come up with on the spur of the moment.

Doing things like playing music something that's so natural and basic to human function running around in nature eating delicious food. These things are intrinsic in basic primordial to human beings so that's sort of a way to return to a blank canvas allowing my true personality to return.

I travel around and hear from so many kids. Their parents say they were always very picky but they watch the show and they want to try stuff. The show is entertainment but I think it has done so much for the public perception of what food can be.

We are not really privy to all that crazy stuff that goes on in the show. I go to work eat and talk about food. The wild things happen when we aren't around. I expected Top Chef to last three or four seasons and we are now shooting season ten.

Asian food is very easy to like because it hits your mouth very differently than European food does. In European food there may be two things to hit - maybe sweet and salty maybe salty-savory but Asian kind of works around plus you have that distinct flavor that's usually working in Asian food.

I love doing demonstrations. I think to be a great chef you have to be a great teacher. I love doing classes with people who love food and enjoy food bringing them all around one table so to speak.

It's easy to be lazy when there's food lying around backstage or there's a fast-food joint a couple blocks away. But if you walk a little further ask around a bit of course there are exciting things to discover.

If my daughter wants to get into this business I would support that decision. She's going to have a hard time not being in it. She loves food and she's around it all the time.

It's fun to pick a cuisine and say I'm going to research Ethiopian food and see what it's all about. You find that there are a lot of similarities in cuisines from around the world and a lot of similar flavors.

Food - I love nuts. I eat them all the time they're easy to carry around and I am never hungry all day long.

I think people are smart enough to sort it out. They know when they're watching one of these food fight shows where journalists sit around and yell and scream at each other versus serious issue reporting.
