Decide very early on: do you want to be an actor or do you want to be famous? Because they're very different routes.

In opera as with any performing art to be in great demand and to command high fees you must be good of course but you must also be famous. The two are different things.

We're telling a story. And the demands of that are different from the demands of a documentary. The audience must believe in order to keep faith in the story.

It's a very different thing religion and faith. Religion is man-made it's man-regulated. And faith you can define God as you wish. But I think they're two different things.
