Are we still a country that takes risks that innovates that believes anything is possible? Or are we a country that is resigned to whatever liberty the government decides to dish out?

The honest truth is that if this government were to propose the massacre of the first-born it would still have no difficulty in getting it through the Commons.

Corporations often partner with government after natural disasters as many companies did in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. As a rule however long-term civic/corporate partnerships are still rare .But this need not remain the status quo as many opportunities are available for such partnerships.

And here's the fact: the fact is it doesn't solve the problem. First of all if you taxed these people at 100 percent basically next year you said 'Look every penny you make next year the government's going to take it from you ' it still doesn't solve the debt.

While all other sciences have advanced that of government is at a standstill - little better understood little better practiced now than three or four thousand years ago.

Do not think of your faults still less of other's faults look for what is good and strong and try to imitate it. Your faults will drop off like dead leaves when their time comes.

I swear by that old expression 'One monkey don't stop no show!' The reality is we still have some good men out there and we should hail those men as the kings they are.

I don't believe that old cliche that good things come to those who wait. I think good things come to those who want something so bad they can't sit still.

I keep my ideals because in spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart.

If it's a good movie the sound could go off and the audience would still have a perfectly clear idea of what was going on.

I wasn't in school often enough to really belong to a 'clique ' but my friends all studied hard and got pretty good grades. They were good people with self-respect. I still like to be friends with people I admire something about I really believe that we become like the people we're surrounded by so I choose my friends carefully!

Ten percent of the big fish still remain. There are still some blue whales. There are still some krill in Antarctica. There are a few oysters in Chesapeake Bay. Half the coral reefs are still in pretty good shape a jeweled belt around the middle of the planet. There's still time but not a lot to turn things around.

Feeling good about government is like looking on the bright side of any catastrophe. When you quit looking on the bright side the catastrophe is still there.

I question myself every day. That's what I still find motivating about this. I don't have the answers I don't pretend that I do just because I won the match. Just keep fighting and maybe something good happens.

We don't have enough support for maternal leave and the kinds of things that some of the European countries do. So we still make it hard on women to go into the work force and feel that they can be good at work but then doing the most important job which is raising your children in a responsible and positive way.

Our creator is the same and never changes despite the names given Him by people here and in all parts of the world. Even if we gave Him no name at all He would still be there within us waiting to give us good on this earth.

My eyesight is not nearly as good. My hearing is probably going away. My memory is slipping too. But I'm still around.

A good man can be stupid and still be good. But a bad man must have brains.

I have always believed and I still believe that whatever good or bad fortune may come our way we can always give it meaning and transform it into something of value.

It's good sportsmanship to not pick up lost golf balls while they are still rolling.

I still have a spiritual base and a spiritual foundation. And my conversation with God is very open-ended. I pray for humility honestly because it's very easy to be caught up in this world.

The sound of 'gentle stillness' after all the thunder and wind have passed will the ultimate Word from God.
