There are women who make things better there are women who change things there are women who make things happen who make a difference. I want to be one of those women.

News reports don't change the world. Only facts change it and those have already happened when we get the news.

Sometimes we look for those thunderous things to happen in our life for our lives to change or go in the other direction. We seek the miracle. We seek the parting of the seas the moving of the mountains. But no it's a quiet thing. At least for me it was.

From year to year environmental changes are incremental and often barely register in our lives but from evolutionary or geological perspectives what is happening is explosive change.

Miracles happen everyday change your perception of what a miracle is and you'll see them all around you.

What we think determines what happens to us so if we want to change our lives we need to stretch our minds.

Change will never happen when people lack the ability and courage to see themselves for who they are.

I remember things that happened sixty years ago but if you ask me where I left my car keys five minutes ago that's sometimes a problem.

'Blind Curve ' the book I'm working on now sprang from a crazy incident that happened to me last year while on my book tour. I was pulled out of my car for a minor traffic violation - an incident that escalated into my being thrown into cuffs and told I was going to jail. Except in my story the hero doesn't get off as easily as I did.

Can you imagine a guy breaking into your car and he steals your guitar case 'cause he thinks it's a guitar and he gets it home and opens it up and there's a rake inside it an electric toilet plunger and a dog skull? That actually happened.

Yeah well I think anyone who likes fast cars will love the Tesla. And it has fantastic handling by the way. I mean this car will crush a Porsche on the track just crush it. So if you like fast cars you'll love this car. And then oh by the way it happens to be electric and it's twice the efficiency of a Prius.

Accidents happen whether they're car accidents friendly fire drug overdoses. Accidents happen and they're tragic. It's like a bomb that goes off and pieces of shrapnel rip into the flesh of the family. It's the families that need the compassion because everywhere they walk every day someone reminds them of their loss.

I'd rather drive the yellow brick road you wouldn't happen to know of a rental car place around.

From 1997 when we came in you guys and the public bought seven million more cars. You didn't get rid of the second car did you? So what is happening is the growth of cars on the motorway.
