I have this desire to just while away weeks months and years. It took me two years to make this record but that was with me trying to condense my process and not disappear down the rabbit hole with all the cool things I've collected. I could take 10 years and not explore everything I want to with these instruments.

Even as a kid if I would come across something cool in the record store that would be how I found out about bands. It's kind of the same way these days. In a way even less because there are no record stores to go to anymore.

You know what 'New Girl' is doing is they're bringing in really cool people. These are home-run people who aren't your typical guest-star-type people.

If I took over the 'Glamour' offices for a day I would put Joe Pesci on the cover. I would say 'We've got to change all these magazines a little bit. We have to bring out a different version of what is like cool. You know what's winning. Joe Pesci Burt Reynolds.'

When you're nearing 35 going 'Hey Dad I can't make these payments ' just isn't cool.

A Christian high school is just like any other high school in the sense of the politics and all of these levels of who's cool and what to wear.

Some of the hip-hop stuff people get into is exciting because there's a passion and there's something to explain to a more mainstream audience so you get these passionate writers who want to express their love for rap and hip-hop which is cool.

We're gonna try and bring on all the different aspects of horror movie making and bring on guests and show all these old '50's B movies. Not the real corny ones the real cool ones.

All the bands get along really well. That's one of the biggest things on a tour. It's great to get all these cool bands together but if they don't get along it sucks.

Like I said about Freaked people tend to find these films and I think that in the end the cool thing about a movie is that it can be sort of burnt temporarily but then it's burnt into the fabric of your culture.

I mean the cool thing about the movies is that you get to try on these different personalities and different styles.

Acting is sort of an extension of childhood. You get to play all of these roles and have so much fun. Playing an athlete would be so cool. Or where you get to shoot guns ride horses. I wouldn't turn down any of that.

To me what I love about the draft is first you see the young men who are realizing their dreams that they've worked so hard for. That's a pretty cool thing. You saw the emotion from some of these guys the other day. And then the second thing is this total sense of hope and optimism. And I think that's great for everybody.

The band feels loose in all the right ways and it's just so cool looking out and seeing all of these people that I haven't seen in a while.

What's weird is that I work with these directors and then I start channeling them. I kind of turn into them a bit - which is cool when you're working with Clint Eastwood.

I'm blessed to have cool roles in these big movies.

The truth is - I found myself doing these huge action-adventure movies and um and which are cool man. And I really love doing them. And thankfully I haven't had too much dialogue because if I had I would have really made a mess of it. You know what I mean?

These days it's cool to be ethnic and to be different but when I was a kid it was not cool - at all. My friends would come over and my mom would make crepes with eggs stuffed with mozzarella cheese tomatoes and spinach. And they'd be like 'What is this?'

I don't wanna abandon my identity as LL Cool J but at the same time I had to figure out how to let people know that I'm really serious about making these movies.

I mean I get letters in the mail because I had a heart defect when I was one I had surgeries and stuff. And so you get these letters in the mail that just they are crazy they are just like yes well our son is dealing with the same thing and we saw you on TV and I mean it is such a cool thing to inspire and kind of give hope.

That is who Barack Obama is - a person of admirable character - and that is who he has remained for me over these last four years. I have not agreed with his every decision but never once have I seen him break his cool lose his composure or abandon his insightful perspective - even during the most serious and/or absurd national disasters.

At first I was queasy I'll never forget the sound of the scalpel cutting a body open. But it was so cool trying to work out how these people died.

Over and over again financial experts and wonkish talking heads endeavor to explain these mysterious 'toxic' financial instruments to us lay folk. Over and over they ignobly fail because we all know that no one understands credit default obligations and derivatives except perhaps Mr. Buffett and the computers who created them.

I like computers. I like the Internet. It's a tool that can be used. But don't be misled into thinking that these technologies are anything other than aspects of a degenerate economic system.
