Every time I see an adult on a bicycle I no longer despair for the future of the human race.

I loved my 17 years with R.E.M. but I'm ready to reflect assess and move on to a different phase of my life. The four of us will continue our close friendship and I look forward to hearing their future efforts as the world's biggest R.E.M. fan.

And we want to develop our strategy to partnership and friendship with the United States which is connected with a very rich history but what is very important for our future.

Those who insist on having hostilities with us kill and destroy the option of friendship with us in the future which is unfortunate because it is clear the future belongs to Iran and that enmities will be fruitless.

This enemy of peace in the world today is unlike any we have seen in the past and our military is learning from and building on previous successes while carrying peace and freedom into the future.

The American idea is as promising imaginative and full of the unexpected as the land itself. The land represents freedom - the frontier the ability to make a new future with your own bare hands.

Today is a celebration of hope for the Iraqi people. The Iraqi people can now take control of their government and their future by creating a society that protects the rights endowed to us by our creator - life liberty and freedom.

Freedom is secured every day by our men and women in uniform. We must build a future worthy of their sacrifice.

We in the United States should be all the more thankful for the freedom and religious tolerance we enjoy. And we should always remember the lessons learned from the Holocaust in hopes we stay vigilant against such inhumanity now and in the future.

There are necessary evils. Money is an important thing in terms of representing freedom in our world. And now I have a daughter to think about. It's really the first time I've thought about the future and what it could be.

If I am elected President of these United States I will work with all my energy and soul to restore that America to lift our eyes to a better future. That future is our destiny. That future is out there. It is waiting for us. Our children deserve it our nation depends upon it the peace and freedom of the world require it.

Without culture and the relative freedom it implies society even when perfect is but a jungle. This is why any authentic creation is a gift to the future.

If Jesus Christ was who He claimed to be and He did die on a cross at a point of time in history then for all history past and all history future it is relevant because that is the very focal point for forgiveness and redemption.

Without forgiveness there's no future.

But Australia faces additional regional and global challenges also crucial to our nation's future - climate change questions of energy and food security the rise of China and the rise of India. And we need a strong system of global and regional relationships and institutions to underpin stability.

When two kids are being completely berserk and they're naked and throwing food around sometimes I just let it go because I can see a future where they're going to be dressed and they're going to be at school. So I kind of let stuff go sometimes.

Innovations that are guided by smallholder farmers adapted to local circumstances and sustainable for the economy and environment will be necessary to ensure food security in the future.

I don't want euro bonds that serve to mutualize the entire debt of the countries in the euro zone. That can only work in the longer-term. I would sum up my fear about the future in one word: boring. And that's my one fear: that everything has happened nothing exciting or new or interesting is ever going to happen again... the future is just going to be a vast conforming suburb of the soul.
