Uh I just had an operation last March which was rather serious and I'm recuperating now. I'm on a very bland diet. But uh I'm lucky I was just lucky that's all.

For the sake of argument and illustration I will presume that certain articles of ordinary diet however beneficial in youth are prejudicial in advanced life like beans to a horse whose common ordinary food is hay and corn.

My diet is always terrible unfortunately. I don't know moderation.

A plant-based diet has actually simplified my life in so many ways. For breakfast I try to get my first serving of fruits and nuts for fuel. I'm completely addicted to coconut water for the electrolytes and hydration.

Perhaps one of the most important things you can do for human beings is wean them off an animal-based diet. It hardens the arteries and runs up our health-care costs. The last thing a poor person can afford is a heart attack or cancer or a stroke. And that's all linked to a meat-based diet. I think animal liberation is human liberation.

For me it's all about moderation. I don't kick things out of my diet like carbs. But I'm not going to eat fast food.

I do follow a version of the Dukan diet but I don't follow it to the extreme so a lot of fish and vegetables. If I want chocolate I'll let myself have a bit of chocolate in moderation.

The Constitution remains brilliant in its overall design and sound with respect to the Bill of Rights and the separation of powers. But there are numerous archaic provisions that inhibit constructive change and adaptation. These constitutional bits affect the daily life of the republic and every citizen in it.

Well yes I mean I think that you know my sources suggest that there's a lot of support for the notion that there is a lot of Koran abuse and that it was very much a systematic design not just an aberration.

I think there is always a need for pure design. With pure design you don't need so much decoration.

And then build a bustling wonderful city of the 21st century with a restoration of a spectacular skyline which Manhattan of course needs. So that is really the design as a whole.

I think taking design out of the studio and really having a relationship with the people that you're making it for really convinced me of how powerful a thing design is. It's not just an aesthetic decoration.

I approve designs not because I think I am more gifted or somebody who can see ahead three or four years from now but just to make sure that the design is a logical rational decision taken after analyzing pros and cons.

That was always my frustration with so many of these shows because design is not an ambush... it's a relationship. You have to know how people move and live and work to be able to design for them.
