Oprah was not somebody who was telling us what to do she wasn't really teaching us like so many people we see today. With Oprah she was learning and we were learning with her. And I think that's really was the seed that was planted for all of us to just hang in there with her.

Learning how to get in tune with your field of energy and understand how to create your energy expand that energy and move that energy through your body. Coming back to your center and approaching life from that center-to-line place... That to me gave me strength and understanding and hopefully wisdom to solve life's problems and challenges.

I had never picked up a basketball before. I went through a grueling audition process. It was almost as if I was learning to walk. It would be like teaching somebody to dance ballet for a role.

Learning by doing peer-to-peer teaching and computer simulation are all part of the same equation.

It is no secret that the fruits of language study are in no sort of relation to the labour spent on teaching and learning them.

They taught us because they wanted to pass the knowledge on and educate young musicians. It was not because they had to teach because they failed as musicians. There is a huge difference in the reasons why someone is teaching and what they can offer and what they cannot offer.

This celebration here tells me that this work is not hopeless. I thank you for this teaching with all my heart and lift my glass to human solidarity to the ultimate victory of knowledge peace good-will and understanding.

If in preaching the gospel you substitute your knowledge of the way of salvation for confidence in the power of the gospel you hinder people from getting to reality.

The one exclusive sign of thorough knowledge is the power of teaching.

Religion can make it worse. Are you supposing that if people were encouraged to believe in a transcendent reality and to be encouraged by grand rituals and music and preaching to love their neighbors then they would put jealousy and frustration aside?

Teaching man his relatively small sphere in the creation it also encourages him by its lessons of the unity of Nature and shows him that his power of comprehension allies him with the great intelligence over-reaching all.

Here's the teaching point if you're teaching kids about intelligence and policy: Intelligence does not absolve policymakers of responsibility to ask tough questions and it doesn't absolve them of having curiosity about the consequences of their actions.

I'd like to one day be featured on a list of inspirational people who have made a difference in the world whether it be helping underprivileged people or putting an end to the poaching of wildlife in Africa.

And I would be the first to admit that probably in a lot of press conferences over the time that I have been in coaching indulging my own sense of humor at press conferences has not been greatly to my benefit.

I hope to continue writing. I hope to continue teaching.

I think what coaching is all about is taking players and analyzing there ability put them in a position where they can excel within the framework of the team winning. And I hope that I've done that in my 33 years as a head coach.
