When I was working on Eye of the Beholder I played a character who is so aloof that my whole lifestyle became very aloof. If someone knocked on my door there was a part of me that went into a rage because I wanted to be isolated and alone.

As the only girl growing up among three brothers I was always afraid of being excluded. If there was a game to be played a sport to be learned a competition to join I was on my feet and ready. I didn't spend much time alone for fear that I'd miss out.

Throughout my whole life as a performer I've never played with a band. I've always played alone so I was never required to stay in rhythm or anything. So it was a real different experience for me to start playing with a band. There were so many basic things for me to learn.

I never played much golf as a kid. I caddied quite a bit but never got serious into golf until about age 15.

I am hoping for peaceful transition into a new age. Obama has already played a great role in initiating us into that vision. If he were to be harmed in any way it would spawn the birth of a million Obamas.

Sure I played did you think I was born at the age of 70 sitting in a dugout trying to manage guys like you?

I'm well past the age where I'm acceptable. You get to a certain age and you are forbidden access. You're not going to get the kind of coverage that you would like in music magazines you're not going to get played on radio and you're not going to get played on television. I have to survive on word of mouth.

The age of a woman doesn't mean a thing. The best tunes are played on the oldest fiddles.
